| Everyone’s favourite nanny is coming to Bristol this year as much-loved musical Mary Poppins returns to the Bristol Hippodrome. It’ll be the first time Mary Poppins has visited the city in nine years, with an almost month-long tour at the Hippodrome in November.
Acclaimed theatre producer Cameron Mackintosh is working with Disney on the production, which is coming “direct from the West End”. Based on the stories of P.L. Travers and the Walt Disney film, the story of the world’s favourite nanny arriving on Cherry Tree Lane promises to be “even more magical than ever before featuring dazzling choreography, incredible effects and unforgettable songs”. |
